Hibiscus blossoms have black edges on the petals. What causes this? Not all blossoms have the problem. We're in Mapleton, Iowa, and have had some really hot days; (95' and above). Also having a long spell with no rain. Anyone else having this problem? Advice???

When my Hibiscus blossoms have darkened edges that tells me there are some pest loose in the garden. You need to look closely at those blossoms before they open to see what might be there and then decide if the problem is bad enough to need control before deciding what to do.
