I have onion bulbs to plant but I don't know when to set them in the ground? I am in zone 7.Is there a web site that can tell you when to plant certian veggies?We are planting alot of seeds this year and I already have sprouts . Thanks for any help!

I live in zone 5, and a gardener once told me to plant onion sets on Good Friday. Now Good Friday may come in March or April, depending on the Easter calendar, so, anytime from mid March should be okay. Since you live in a warmer zone, you could plant earlier. Plant the sets shallow if you want large onions, deeper if you want to use green onions.
