vines

  Re: (0...)
I recently submitted a question regarding English Ivy. I couldn't get it to grow up a concrete wall. After reading the replies I've decided to do away with the ivy. Can anyone suggest a vine that will cover a concrete wall that is very light colored(the wall), facing south and located here in southern Michigan?
Your replies will be much appreciated. Thank you.

there is a annual vine that grows very quickly, Mounring Glory. Just train it up the wall with some strings, then it'll spread very quickly by it's selft afterwards.

Also, another plant is clematis. There have very showy flowers, and are great for covering up walls
